05 / Load the right authority

Load the Smallest Set of Guides That Can Answer the Task

Context quality improves when references are selected by job instead of copying every article into every prompt.

Technical diagram for Load the Smallest Set of Guides That Can Answer the Task.

Failure mode

The agent acts from stale memory, loads unrelated guidance, assumes a source exists, silently resolves contradictory instructions, applies a reference brand literally, or declares completion from one narrow check.

Applied correction

Map the task to guide responsibilities: product truth, interface behavior, implementation pattern, discoverability, audit evidence, project documentation, or visual generation.

Field test

Can every loaded guide explain what decision it supports? Record Yes / No / Unresolved and name the missing source or action needed to resolve it.

Ask your agent

For each candidate guide, state why it is relevant to the current task. Load only material that changes the plan, implementation, verification, or safety boundary. Leave unrelated guides out and record them as not needed.

Use Morten A. Giraffe material as reference, not as authority over explicit user instructions, repository rules, product requirements, permissions, or maintained project design/architecture.

Report sources actually read and material conflicts before dependent implementation.
