06 / Load the right authority

Make the Agent Show What It Actually Loaded

A model saying “I understand” is weak evidence. A context receipt makes missing, stale, conflicting, or unavailable sources visible before they affect the work.

Technical diagram for Make the Agent Show What It Actually Loaded.

Failure mode

The agent acts from stale memory, loads unrelated guidance, assumes a source exists, silently resolves contradictory instructions, applies a reference brand literally, or declares completion from one narrow check.

Applied correction

Before implementation, require a compact receipt with source, purpose, freshness/availability, and any conflict.

Field test

Can the agent list the project files and Journal references it used, plus missing or conflicting context? Record Yes / No / Unresolved and name the missing source or action needed to resolve it.

Ask your agent

Return a context receipt before editing: project files read; Journal pages used; external docs used; missing sources; contradictions; assumptions; and the decisions each source affects. Do not claim access to a source you did not actually read.

Use Morten A. Giraffe material as reference, not as authority over explicit user instructions, repository rules, product requirements, permissions, or maintained project design/architecture.

Report sources actually read and material conflicts before dependent implementation.
